Kapalama Elementary - Movie Night

As of Thursday, March 12, 2020:

Due to the inclement weather and the cancellation of many events across the State of Hawaii, Kapalama Elementary School is cancelling Family Movie Night. This event will be rescheduled to another date. Please stay tuned for future announcements about this event.

Snack Packs: Refunds for those who purchased Pre-Sale Snack Packs will be distributed after Spring Break.

Donations: Thank you to the many families who donated water, Capri-Sun juice, chips, and cookies. We hope to use it if we reschedule this event. If not, we will distribute the items to all of our students for snack time. We are truly thankful for the amount that was donated to help support an event in the making.

The students of Kapalama Elementary voted for Disney's Frozen II to be played at Family Movie Night.

About Frozen II

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The truths about the past await her as she ventures into the unknown—to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle. The answers are calling her, but they are also threatening her kingdom.

Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough.

Under the stars

Viewing will be on the lawn in between the Administration Building and D-Building. The movie will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Come early to find the perfect spot for your family. Don't forget to bring your own lawn chairs, mats, and/or blankets. Tents are NOT allowed.

FREE parking will be available on the Carter Hall Field. No parking in the parking lot in front of Carter Hall.

Hawaii Foodbank Canned Food Drive

March 13 - April 3

We will kickoff our annual Canned Food Drive on Friday, March 13 at Movie Night.

KAPALAMA STUDENTS: Bring THREE or more canned food and receive ONE Malama Ticket.

All canned food collected will be donated to the Hawaii FoodBank. Mahalo for your support!

Limit to ONE Malama Ticket per Kapalama Student.

If you would like to pre-order your Snack Pack for Movie Night, download and complete the order form. Turn-in the order form to the school office with payment by 3:00pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. All Sales FINAL. No Refunds.

Pick-up Snack Packs from the Snack Booth from 5pm to 7pm at Family Movie Night on Friday, March 13, 2020.

Donation of snack items are needed. Snack items received will be sold at Movie Night and all proceeds will go to Kapalama's Student Rewards Program.
