HCAP Head Start Program

HCAP Head Start & Early Head Start is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year. Pregnant women, and families with infants, toddlers and preschool aged children (3-5 years old). 

Head Start programs prepare America's most vulnerable young children to succeed in school and in life beyond school. To achieve this, Head Start programs deliver services to children and families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way. 

Program options include: 

Center-Based: 

• Free part-day centers for children ages 3-5 years old 

• Affordable full-day centers for children ages 3-5 years old 

• Head Start/DOE Combined Classrooms (inclusion) for children ages 3-5 years old 

Home-Based: 

• Home Based services for children ages 3-5 years old 

• Home Based services for pregnant women, infants and toddlers
